Seminar: Model Web

25 March 09 NASA Ecosystem forecasting program manager, Dr. Gary Geller, visited us and gave a talk on Model web on afternoon of March 25 starting at 1:30pm. After the talk, Liping Di gave him the review on CSISS work on geoprocessing modeling. We agreed to utilize the GeoBrain software products to promote the Model Web concept through some typical decision support scenarios.

USGS Landsat Project Planning Meeting

23 Jan 09 Douglas D. Nebert and CSISS director, Prof.Liping Di, along with four CSISS members, Dr.Genong (Eugene) Yu, Xuanang Cheng, Upendra Dadi and Dr.Yuqi Bai, hold thd USGS landsat project planning meeting in USGS headquarter today.
CSISS's flagship geospatial software product, GeoBrain, will be used to build an integrated data discovery, data analysis, data customization, and data dissemination workbench system for USGS landsat images.
During this meeting, a polar ecosystems scenario was defined, and main technical issues were discussed, with the project milestones finialized.
